Spiced Pumpkin Pie Crescents scream “fall!” in the best way. They’re super easy to make, ready in less than 30 minutes, & kid friendly too!
The Filling
The filling for these fall desserts includes pure pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling), with softened cream cheese, light brown sugar, & pumpkin pie spice. It only takes a few minutes of elbow grease to cream everything together & then you’re ready to assemble the hand-held desserts.
I included my pumpkin pie spice blend in the notes for you to follow if needed. You can always use a premade blend, or you could also just use cinnamon if you’re not a fan of the spice blend.
The Finish
After you spread the filling all over one side of the crescent roll & gently roll it up, then it’s time for the final dip before they go into the oven. The finishing touch is to take a swim in pumpkin pie spiced sugar. I generously cover the crescents all over to get tons of that spiced flavor in every bite.
They bake quickly so keep an eye on them!

Spiced Pumpkin Pie Crescents
Ingredients
- 1 8 oz Crescent Rolls
- 2 oz Cream Cheese softened
- 2 T Light Brown Sugar
- 1/2 c Pumpkin Puree
- 1 T Pumpkin Pie Spice see notes
- 2 T Sugar
- 1/2 T Pumpkin Pie Spice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- Mix the cream cheese, pumpkin, brown sugar, & 1 T pumpkin pie spice in a small bowl until blended together well.
- Prepare assembly line: roll the crescent rolls out into a single layer & separate the triangles. Mix the sugar & pumpkin pie spice in a shallow dish.
- Working on one crescent at a time, put 1-2 T of the filling on one side of the crescent & spread evenly to the tip. Gently roll the crescent rolls up, starting from the base of the triangle & rolling up to the tip. Set the rolled up crescent in the spiced sugar dip & gently roll to cover all sides. Sprinkle extra on parts that need it. Place the finished roll on an ungreased baking sheet. Repeat for all crescent rolls.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until they have browned & the edges start to crisp. The top should feel firm when gently poked. Let cool enough to touch.
- Enjoy!
